Outdoor Events
In 2017 we organised a series of outdoor events to entertain all ages that went down a treat! Look out for more from Spring 2018.
All-Abilities Wildflower Walk
In June, Roz Summers led an All-Abilities Wildflower Walk at Achmelvich. Connect Assynt provided transport and we ate our homemade scones with tea and coffee provided by Achmelvich Hostel.
The Snail and the Whale
In July around 40 people attended and took part in our performance of The Snail and the Whale on Achmelvich beach. Local children listened to the story, read by Roz Summers, then had a dress rehearsal before performing it for friends and family.
The Gruffalo
August saw the appearance of the Gruffalo in Culag Woods! More than 60 people came to hear Andy Summers, our local Ranger read the story, while young actors from Ullapool High School played the parts. Don’t worry if you missed it, the Gruffalo will be back!
