In April and May 2018, local nature enthusiasts will deliver a series of fascinating wildlife talks for us featuring the birds, butterflies and moths, fungi and plants of Assynt. £4 per person, £3.50 concession. Booking is essential. To book contact Sandra on sandramcallus@gmail.com

We will look at a variety of species with an emphasis on those found in Assynt, exploring such topics as life-cycles, distribution, finding a mate, surviving the winter, conservation and gardening.

Local plants: what to look for when you are trying to name them; which bits to photograph; useful sources of information. With live material and a walkabout if the weather allows.
